WFA Mission

  • Warrior Family Advocacy (WFA) conceptualizes, defines, and generates solutions to the problems Veteran parents face in family court with regards to custody arrangements.

  • Why we exist:  Service Members and Veterans require unique legal advice and information when engaging with family court as they seek parenting/custody arrangements.  They may at times suffer from bias and stigmas associated with their military service that seek to paint them as unfit parents.  WFA seeks to educate and empower Service Members and Veterans to understand the key features of family law as it relates to child custody and parenting plans to ensure the most favorable outcome for the them and their children.

  • Desired End State:  Ensure children of Veterans benefit from healthy co-parenting arrangements and ensure Veteran parents are not discriminated in family court on account of their military service.
